Nick Ricci has developed a paper-based base for outdoor rinks for ice that freezes at 32°F or colder. He calls it “A.I.” – Atmospheric Intelligence — and his time at the Chicago Tribune contributed to his discovery for a reusable, low-cost, recyclable solution for backyard ice rinks.
